.Country Kids® began in 1985 when cofounder, Jo Sherratt, spotted a gap in the US market for high quality hosiery that could survive longer than a day's wear.

 

In the beginning, Sherratt began importing ladies pantyhose from the UK and as the business grew, she broke into the childrenswear market with a single top quality warm, winter tight. Country Kids® was born. 

 

The collection widened into an impressive array of whimsical children’s tights and socks and Country Kids® became a complete one-stop-shop hosiery resource, servicing department and specialty stores throughout the United States & Canada.

 

The line is known for its focus on natural fibers, including organic and Pima cotton, and an unparalleled range of colors and patterns. Meticulous attention to detail is the cornerstone of the line.
